TEODOMIRO DAL NEGRO
A couple of info... International cardboard and PVC are the main materials designated to the casino market. The playing cards, both in paperboard and in PVC, are printed close together on a single sheet. After the printing process the sheet is coated with a special varnish layer. This gives the best color brilliance, increases the lasting time and the smoothness of touch.
Surface treatments such as calendering and linen finishing are also applied in the production of the playing cards for
professional use. The printed and varnished sheet is cut in vertical strips. Then, as second step, the stripes are cut in single
cards. As third step, the new deck passes through the corner rounding process. At last, the deck is wrapped in cellophane
and inserted into its box.
Surveillance is a main target at Dal Negro’s: workers and employees can have access to the plants only by using a personal
badge. Visitors can enter inside only by using a permit badge and after work hours the whole factory and offices are under
surveillance of a security service. This is a very important feature in the supply of playing cards for professional use.
